• Hi, I’m Deb and my Blue Wheeler’s name is Jack. I’m your Blue Wheelers Mobile Dog Groomer for Kincumber (2251) in NSW. I also provide dog washing and dog grooming services in Avoca Beach, Copacabana, Macmasters Beach & Bensville.

  My number one for dog owners is to love your pets unconditionally as they love you more than that!

  I’ve always loved dogs…. from crawling in the Dalmatians sleeping basket as a toddler to spoiling my little Staffy, Willow. I’ve always had a special connection. I’m sure I’ll have that connection with your best friend too.

  Dogs seem to gravitate towards me. For some reason, I am the one in the crowd they run straight to wherever we are. A good day at work would be the same, if your dog is happy to see me, then I’m happy as too! Plus they will smell beautiful when they come back to you.

  I was inspired to become a dog groomer because unfortunately, the last 2 years in the event industry have not been great and throughout that the company I worked for had a restructure which meant I could take a redundancy. So I had to re-evaluate what it was that I wanted to do. As I have said, dogs are my passion, so I knew it was time to bring that passion into my life. So, I started thinking and talking to friends who all said I should go for it! So here I am.

  I’ve never met a dog I don’t like, but my favourite is Staffies. My girl is my life and is currently expecting her first litter in late December. Having puppies is going to be hard work but it’s going to be so much fun!

  I named my Big Blue Dog, Jack. Jack was my first dog I owned as an adult. He was my little shadow. Never far from where I was.

  I’ve always worked in the customer service industry, I know people and I listen. I enjoy having a good chat and am empathetic towards everyone. I have worked in events for the past 10 years, however, I have always wanted to do something with animals. I did work experience at a Vet clinic for my year 10 work experience week. When I was in my early 20’s I worked at another Vet clinic as their night-time caretaker. I lived above the Vet clinic and answered the phone for any emergency patients through the night and cleaned out their cages each morning. Animals have definitely always been my calling, I’m glad to just finally be doing it!
