• Hi, My name is John.

  I have been dog washing and grooming with Blue Wheelers since 2012.

  My number one tip for dog owners – A good walk every day if the weather permits, 2nd tip would be regular grooming by a professional dog groomer. A secret about dogs is that they love being clean almost as much as they love being dirty but by being clean they get more cuddles. Your dog will love you for it.

  Best part about dog grooming is seeing them smile after a groom, seeing the puppy that is always inside come out and play. Makes my day!

  I have always been really passionate about looking after the furry friends in my life. This is what inspired me to become a Blue Wheeler. I love helping people keep their dogs looking and feeling great.

  I love all dog breeds, but if I had to pick one favourite breed I’d say that I have a special spot for Bichon Frises – my Jake and Jesse in particular, sadly Jesse passed away back in 2011. I decided to name my Blue Dog Trailer after my beloved Jesse. Jake, Jesse’s brother is nearly 18 now, sleeps all day, gets the “wanders” at night, can’t see very well, walks at his own pace [very slow] but that’s ok. I also hang out with a Maltese/Pomeranian named Tess, she makes my day.

  I love animals and I love making a difference in a dog’s life. Making a new four legged friend is one of the best feelings in life.
