I have been washing and grooming dogs with Blue Wheelers since 2006 in Torquay (3228). I absolutely love it.

My No. 1 tip for dog owners is when you bring home a new puppy, make sure you play with its feet, ears and face. This gets puppy used to being touched and therefore less stressful when they have to go to the vet or when they get groomed.

My favourite thing about dog washing and grooming with Blue Wheelers is meeting all the clients and seeing how much they love their animals.

I knew I always had a desire to work with animals. Blue Wheelers provided the perfect opportunity to meet these desires and provide new challenges for me.

My favourite dog breed is Rescue. All my dogs have been rescues and my current dog Chevy was rescued from a shelter just over 12 months ago. He is a very energetic Heeler x Border Collie who loves cuddles and going for walks. He is 9 years old but acts very much like a puppy. I also like to rescue older or senior dogs as a feel they get overlooked but offer so much to new owners.

I named my Blue Wheeler trailer after my second rescue dog Wallace. He was a Cairn Terrior who loved going to the Geelong Waterfront to play. He attracted lots of attention from kids as he looked like a Teddy Bear.

Prior to becoming a Blue Wheeler I spent over 20 years working in customer service, recruitment, management and also was a member of the RAN for 7 years.

I couldn’t recommend Meredith any higher , it was Gypsy’s first time with her and she was happy to be groomed and clipped all while giving Meredith lots of kisses to say thank you. Will absolutely be re booking Gypsy in with Meredith in the future. Thankyou so much from both of us

Meredith was amazing!!! Greeted both my dogs on arrival.(only one getting groomed today).lovely woman that was clearly a dog lover.I couldn’t believe how quick she was. My Miley looks fantastic and you could tell she was so happy with her matts gone and her long nails clipped.I would highly recommend Meredith to come and groom your dog. Gave both my dogs treats when finished. Awesome job…

My beautiful Pug Alvin hated baths. He would run and hide. That was until Meredith started bathing him. He loves her and his fortnightly bath. Thank you Meredith for being patient with him. My kids love watching her bath him and love her trailer. I would highly recommend Meredith! She is the best!!
