• I’ve been dog washing and grooming with Blue Wheelers since 2012 in the suburbs of Walkley Heights (5098), Oakden (5086), Gilles Plains (5086), Valley View (5093) and Para Vista (5093).

  A tip I share with my clients is to get your pooch used to being handled from day one.  Touch their paws, have them washed and or washed & clipped regularly so they get use to the water, the hair dryer.  A puppy especially will learn very quickly that grooming is part of their hygiene care if they are regularly pampered.  The earlier a puppy meets their groomer, the better.

  It is very hard to choose a favourite Breed as there are so many I could choose from, My most favourite dog breed though is the Maltese Shitzu, this is because they are a very intelligent dog breed, I find them very gentle and fearless a good companion for many age groups and a dog breed that brings happiness to many people.

  My Big Blue Dog Trailer is named Lucy Rose after our family dog who is a Shitzu x Miniture Toy Poodle.

  Before working as a dog groomer I was a customer service representative and maintenance worker. In Customer service it taught me a lot about being patient and meeting different people and having a chat, with people who care for their pooch and in regards to the maintenance side it prepared me well for maintaining your pooch.
