I have been a Blue Wheeler since 2004, so I am very experienced with dog washing and grooming. My key suburb is Warners Bay NSW and surrounding areas.

My number one tip for dog owners is to choose a dog that suits your lifestyle and understand the particular needs of that breed, for e.g. with grooming and exercise.

My favourite thing about being a Blue Wheeler is that every day I meet new people and their dogs and enjoy every minute of pampering their furry little family members. It gives me great pleasure to see all my clients happy and I always leave them with a smile knowing I will see them again soon.

My inspiration to become a Blue Wheeler was when I started getting my own dog washed and thought what a fabulous way to spend the day.

My Blue Dog Trailer is Barkley. It was something the whole family chose. We thought the name stood out and related to dogs and was a bit different.

I love all dog breeds but I have a soft spot for the Australian Kelpie. I grew up with many animals but my favourite was our red Kelpie. He was always so full of life and always had a smile on his face, not to mention his good looks and he knew it. They are a working dog and extremely agile and intelligent. They have very little health problems and are easy to groom. That’s why to me they are the pick of the crop.

After many years working as a legal secretary the stress just became too much. There were always deadlines to meet. My days of stress are over. I now own my own business and work my own hours. I couldn’t be happier. This is a lifelong dream.

Unfortunately we have moved from Kewdale, but we used to use Katrina and she was brilliant. My Cocker spaniel Finn has had several bad experiences with previous groomers and has developed a lot of anxiety. Katrina waived her magic with him and he has improved immensely, she has a real calming presence and I cannot rate her highly enough, I would highly recommend Katrina:). I hope my new groomer in the hills will be as good!

It took me almost 3 years to find someone like Blue Wheelers. Both my doggies LOVE Katrina and they smell amazing for over 2 weeks after the hydro bath! Also both of my fur babies have stopped losing hair even when patting them after the hydro bath. AMAZING! Highly recommended.
