A Pawsitive Investment

A Pawsitive Investment for your hip pocket:

Our new team members typically achieve their earnings goals within four to six months. With some earning more than $120,000 per annum from their second year onwards.

Low overheads; No rent; No wages; No utilities.

There are multiple Australian franchise systems requiring an investment of over $500,000 that often do not return any more than $120,000 – $150,000. Think fast food chains and retail stores. We have many Groomers in our system earning the same amount of income for a significantly lower investment. You do the math.

Income is well and truly meeting my expectations and is really good. I reached my initial income targets very quickly. I now typically earn around 2k a week. That’s with a 4 day working week (sometimes 5 days). I continue to get faster at what I’m doing and schedule my appointments without too much travel, which allows me to fit in more customers if I choose.

A Pawsome Investment in your lifestyle.

A typical day for Tony, Blue Wheelers Narre Warrren South.

7.00  Up out of bed; on with all the basic morning routine.

7:30  Coffee and breakfast before I hit the road.

8.00  Check that I have everything for the day ahead.
Fill Water tank for my first appointments.

8:30  Hook up the Big Blue Dog to the car and hit the road.

9.00  Appointment 1: Petra, a beautiful black lab.  Set up for her service.

  • Call Petra out of the house, cuddle and pats with a few Blue Wheeler Treats and
take her into the Big Blue Dog.
  • More pats and cuddles it makes her excited to be in there with me.
  • Bath her with Blue Wheelers Whitening shampoo (sounds strange for a black dog but it’s a thing); give her a conditioning treatment.
We have a little chat about her weekend. I think she went to the Park.
  • Out of the bath and move on to drying her – I love Petra’s dog shakes.
  • Use our signature Blue Wheelers cologne and clean her eyes and ears.

9:50  Return her to front yard and let her get on with her doggy day.

  • Clean up and sanitise the Big Blue Dog for next appointment.
  • Quick text to Petra’s pawrents to say ‘all done’ and supply bank account details for payment and off to next appointment.

10.00   Appointment 2.  Winnie and Chester, 2 of the cutest pugs ever.

  • No pawrents home but access the twosome in the garden. They stay together.
(they both carry on like pork chops if they’re not kept together)
  • Cuddles, treats and pats and check and cut nails.
  • Bath both at the same time using Blue Wheelers De-shed shampoo.
  • A soak while I rub conditioner into their coats. They are loving this.
  • Dry one dog at a time while keeping an eye on the other.
  • Clean eyes and ears. Apply Cologne.  Our Cologne keeps customers returning.

11.00  Return to their garden with a chicken strap each.   Good job, you two.
Clean, sanitise trailer and pack-up

11:15  Quick coffee Break.

11:30  Appointment 3.  Bella, the German Shepherd

  • Same routine of cuddles; bath; treatments and pampering.
I tell Bella all about the other dogs I’ve seen today. She doesn’t seem to care.
  • Return Bella to her human with a chicken strap and lots of praise
  • Clean, sanitise trailer and pack up.

12:35  Park under a shady tree and have a break for some lunch. Have a quick chat to
someone who approaches to ask if I can fit their dog in this afternoon.  Sadly,
nope.  I’m taking an early mark today.  I give them my card for their next groom.

1.00  Appointment 4. Charlie and Olivia, Golden Retriever and Cocker Spaniel.

  • Charlie is up first for the usual cuddles, treats and pat. He doesn’t fuss too much when I cut his nails.
  • Into the bath. I’m using Blue Wheelers amazing De-shed shampoo.
  • Return Charlie and it’s now Olivia’s turn.
  • Olivia gets a bit of a tidy and groom when I comb through her matts behind the ears.
(Note to self, ask owner to comb her more onceto keep the matts in check)
  • Return Bella and have a little chat to her humans. Offered a tea and a bikkie. I normally politely decline as I’m too busy but today I’m taking an early mark so I say yes please and enjoy a Tim Tam (or 2).
  • Clean, sanitise trailer and pack up.

2:35   Reverse the Big Blue Dog into the driveway. I’m home.

2:40   Empty the towels into the washing machine.

2:50   Clean and sanitise the trailer, ready for tomorrow when I get to do this all over
again.  Four houses, 6 dogs.

4 pm   A little bit of admin.  Open up my calendar on Blue Wheeler’s CRM system.
Mark off all today’s jobs. This tallies up my income.  Pretty happy with that.

4:05   Return calls,  booking one customer and quoting another. Disappointing a third
caller as she wants immediate service. booked out for the next three weeks.

4:20   Send confirmation texts to my next round of customers.

4:25   Have a shower, beer o’clock and put my feet up.  It was a good day.
