    We consider ourselves to be the experts in the field of dog grooming. In fact, while we don’t like to brag, we believe we created the whole industry of mobile dog grooming in Australia and educated dog owners on the necessities of a well-groomed dog.

    Come on? Can you really dispute the impact of the iconic Big Blue Dog driving around your suburb. It doesn’t take long to create demand with with the Big Blue Dog on the road. It’s crazy, right? In 2025 it’s had a huge makeover and new Blue Dogs boast.

  • Product and Development

    We have had years of experience in creating products that work from Shampoos, Detanglers to incredible De Shedding products. We are asked time and again by customers if they can buy our cologne as it lasts for ages. They cannot. That would be like selling our magic potion. Our products keep our customers coming back.

    We also have a fantastic range of Natural Australian Treats made specifically for our Groomers to use in their business and sell to customers for added profit.

  • Next level Training and Support

    We often say that when you buy into Blue Wheelers you are on your own but never alone. This means that you won’t see any boss looking over your shoulder but should you ever need help, we are right there. We have a dedicated Team Support Person in each State and a full team in our National Support Office who are there to help you with just about anything. Our success is your success. If our groomers don’t thrive, neither do we.

     
     

    For me there are 3 levels of support: Team Support (thank you Sharon.) Other local franchisees, and National Support Office. All up, the support that I have received has helped me grow my business. I feel so well supported and, honestly, without this level of support, I don’t think I’d be where I am successfully today.

  • We don’t just want you, we need you

    It’s pretty rare in any business to turn customers away. Frustratingly, we are forced to do this every single day. Genuinely, our customer demand far exceeds our number of Groomers on the road. Dog Ownership sits at an all-time high in Australia since Covid.

    In Australia, 48% of all pet owners nationally own a dog, if not more than one dog.

    I have several houses that have 3 dogs. One house has 2 Jack Russell crosses and a large mixed breed. I spend about 2 ½ hours there.

    Another customer has 3 Jack Russell dogs and I’m there for 2 hours. At this house, I also do the neighbour’s dog on the same day.

    Then there’s yet another customer who has a 3 dogs: a beautiful border collie, a rough collie and a Lhasa Apso X. That gig can take me anywhere between 2 – 4 hours, depending on their needs at the time.

    I love having multiple dogs at one house, saves me time and I get to stay put for a while
