After 9 years with the same groomer when she retired I was devastated. I decided to try Daniel. I watched him take Toby out, Toby was reluctant to go with a stranger. Daniel talked to him, picked him up, cuddled him and kissed him on the head. I felt reassured that a stranger could be so caring with my dog. Toby came back in looking fantastic and very happy. Benji went next, I watched Daniel carry him out. Benji is the hardest of the 2 to groom. He came back in also looking fantastic and very happy. Daniel obviously loves dogs and is good at grooming. I have no hesitation in recommending him. In fact the next day whilst out walking the dogs I was asked who had groomed them as they looked so good.

Daniel is simply amazing! My husky absolutely adores him, which says a lot considering she despises bath time. She is excited when he arrives and doesn’t want him to leave. He has an exceptional ability to create a positive and comfortable environment for dog. I couldn’t be happier with the fantastic job he does. We recently moved to the area and Im thankful I found Daniel to groom Oscar. He provides excellent service, very prompt and great communication. Oscar can be timid with strangers but Daniel’s love of dogs made Oscar feel very comfortable. Daniel gave Chihuahua Sam, on holiday with us, his first real clip for a couple of years.
He arrived with long, thick hair, lethargic and feeling the first of the summer heat.
After his wash and clip he was like a puppy again – ears, snout and feet uncovered and full of energy.
We and his owners were thrilled to see him so comfortable and happy. A big thank you, Daniel. -

Very happy with the outcome of Leroy’s first groom and wash! At only 5 months old Leroy is bouncy and full of beans but Daniel was very patient and managed to wash and groom him to perfection! Daniel seems to be a natural with animals and Leroy loved him. Will definitely book again. Thanks Daniel!

Really friendly & prompt service, dogs cried a little bit & he was very caring towards our dogs, constantly trying to help settle and make sure they knew they were ok.
After it all, dogs smelt & looked amazing, will come back. Thanks again!

Daniel washed our 3 cattle dogs, the youngest being deaf. He has a wonderful way with them all, especially Matilda the deafy who had not been in the Big Blue Dog before. They were all very well behaved and Daniel looked after them all and did a fantastic job! Thankyou!!

I warned him about skin conditions and we have had no adverse reactions, he was mindful and informative of his products. He gave an accurate quote and estimated time, arrived on time and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

Highly recommended! Daniel is a great find, very thorough and professional and obviously a big dog lover at heart! I managed to get both my problem fur children bathed and nail clipped with no drama or stress to either of them, they weren’t even like my dogs once in the trailer! Reasonable prices, great service, very kind and gentle with the girls. Dan’s a great guy, need I say more!! Support this great local business, I will be regularly!!

How glad were we to find Dan, he immediately made friends with Leo so he was very happy to enter Murdoch for a bath, with Dan’s relaxing ways he even managed to get him blowdried without stressing him out as he hates that part. We would thoroughly recommend.
