We love being part of Blue Wheeler’s team – living the dream of washing and grooming dogs of Bundaberg West and surrounding areas.

We have been around dogs and dog owners pretty much all of our lives we have got to say our number one tip for dog owners is to make sure your beloved furry best friend is cherished and loved as the time with them is limited. So make sure they are groomed or washed regularly to keep them looking their best! A happy home is a happy dog after all. We are honoured to join the Blue Wheelers family, to have the ability and privilege to work with an array of vast doggy breeds and their owners and to be able to achieve the desired result that the owner was wanting, in the end, dogs release endorphins which have a big impact on a person’s mental health, so they make anyone around them happy, this inspiration came from our beloved dog Poppy! who has been getting groomed by Blue Wheelers Bundaberg North ever since she was a puppy? After making a few calls and talking to other Blue Wheelers franchisees we made the choice to bring Blue Wheelers Bundaberg West to our ever-expanding city.

Our beloved pooch is a Maltese Shih Tzu named Poppy, while she may lack in the size department of normal-sized Maltese she tends to make up for a big personality. While we can play favourites here, we love all dogs big and small, so we honestly cannot choose a particular breed to love and adore the most but if we had to decide on one it would be a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for their kind natured personality and loyalty towards their owners and a German Shepard also for the same reason.

Brooke has a small background of work experience with local vets when she was younger and her immense love for dogs no matter the size will help with the handling of all pooches. Brooke recently graduated from university with a Diploma of Nursing so she enriches that caring nature.

Andrew grew up with a vast variety of dogs from the small lap dogs to the big cuddly loveable ones, he has worked in customer service, hospitality, and cleaning. He landed in this area due to his immense love for all dogs and want to benefit from working with animals. He also studied at university as well doing a Diploma in Aviation.

Peter came and bathed my over stressed Golden Retriever. He has excellent dog managing skills, he calmed her down and made the first ever bath and groom a pleasurable one. Honey has epileptic seizures if she travels in cars or gets too stressed and although I was worried about her, I had no cause to be. Thank you, greatly appreciated and highly recommended.

This was our first time using Brooke and Andrew. Our dog puppy has recently been through some horrible allergies and reactions on her skin. She normally itches so bad after a wash and has red skin. After her clip and wash with Blue Wheelers she was not red and didn’t scratch either. They used a medicated wash on her with some herbal wash aswell. I highly recommend these guys and will be using them again in the future. Their grooming techniques are fantastic also and they love animals so much. My dogs loved their treats and all the cuddles they got. I’m pretty sure they will be excited every time they see Blue Wheelers pull into the driveway.
