Hi, I’m Yamini, your local mobile dog groomer in Glen Waverley. I’m also a proud Border Collie mum to Simu. Seeing my furry clients happy and relaxed after a groom always brings a big smile to my face. Becoming a groomer has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made—it perfectly combines my love for dogs and people. Every day is fun, rewarding, and full of tail wags!

On a busy day, I pamper around 6–8 adorable pups, mostly providing stylish haircuts and fresh new looks.
One of my favourite dog breeds is the Border Collie. They can be a little tricky and aren’t always fond of grooming, but as a proud owner, I know how to connect with them and help them enjoy their spa time.
My favourite moment on the road is arriving at a client’s home and seeing my furry customer already waiting at the door, excited to greet me.
On stormy or windy days, you might find me supporting the Monash community as a SES Monash Unit volunteer, wearing my orange coveralls and working on streets or in wooded areas—sometimes at odd hours.
Top tip for dog owners: Daily walks! They’re fantastic for your dog’s mental wellbeing and a great way to enjoy fresh air and bonding time together.
My favourite foods include Indian vegetarian cuisine, along with a little something sweet to satisfy my cravings.
I’m happiest when I’m with my family—my two kids, my loving husband, and Simu—or when I’m caring for my wonderful fur clients who brighten my days.
Travel bucket list: Trekking through the breathtaking Himalayan ranges whenever I get the opportunity.
