Hi, my name is Jason and I’ve been grooming with Blue Wheelers since 2012 with the help of Flash, my Big Blue Dog. We come to your house to wash & groom your dog who deserves the best attention and care.

Flash was named after my first real nickname when I joined the Navy. It was the first time I hadn’t just got an abbreviated first or last name as my nickname. I still get people asking why Flash until you mention my surname and the comic book.

My tip for all dog owners is to set up a regular grooming schedule. This will keep your dog’s coat looking in pristine condition weather it being a haircut or a deshed to remove the excess fur that accumulates on the floors.

One thing that I love about being a mobile service is that we come to you and your dog remains just outside their home. While in our Big Blue Dog they are still close to their own surroundings where they feel comfortable while I pamper them. The bonus for me is I get to be outdoors around the fantastic area that is the south coast with the ocean being so close and a strong local community means every day I look forward to going to work and come home smiling from being around the dogs all day.

I have always loved dogs. We own Labradors and are Registered Labrador Breeders with the South Australia Canine Association. Making the move to becoming a professional mobile groomer was a natural choice for me as I simply love being around dogs of all breeds and sizes.

Before becoming a Blue Wheelers franchise owner, I served in the Royal Australian Navy for 7 years, which I loved. This taught me the discipline required to run my own mobile dog grooming business. After getting out of the Navy in 2006, I worked for Coles as a Manager, which was great to learn about customer service and getting to interact with people from all walks of life and ages.

Our dog Gibbs is always happy to see the blue dog trailer pull up but then chickens out. Jason always helps him up into the trailer and talks to him to calm him down and reassure him.

I wanted to thank Jason for giving up his Sunday morning to wash & groom the dogs that came along to the Hutt St pop up vet clinic for the Homeless & low income peeps recently.

Baris is such an awkward dog for me to wash on my on given his size and due to unforeseen circumstances I have not been able to afford a professional dog wash service coming into winter. (Summer is usually just the garden hose for Baris)

I was really impressed with how patient and understanding Jason was of such a large breed of dog who detests being washed. He knew just what to do to get Baris to stand up (This I was most impressed with)
Jason and one of the other guys even managed to get Mr Woos Bags claws clipped!
You could tell Baris felt a lot better after his wash.

Thanks again to those from Blue Wheelers who gave up their time so freely.

Oh PS – 2 weeks later and Baris still smells nice. Where can I purchase the deodorant from?

Absolutely highly recommending my local Blue Wheeler (Jason) on a job well done. Jason definitely had patience with Muffin’s protests at the big blow dryer…. it was both Millie and Muffin’s first experience with getting a professional grooming done. LOVE IT!!!

Although William does not like being pampered and cries most of the time, Jason is extremely patient and kind in dealing with him. Jason from Blue Wheelers. Noarlunga has been washing my dogs for nearly two years. He is great with my two Malamutes, even though he has to wear ear plugs when they sing him the song of their people. Jason is always polite, gentle and really loves the dogs. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
