I have been providing dog grooming and washing services with Blue Wheelers in Brighton Le Sands and surrounding suburbs for over 12+ years.

There are so many things I love about being a dog groomer – the wagging tails that greet me at the door, the beautiful big, brown eyes and their funny little personalities and antics always put a smile on my face.

A special memory of my life as a Blue Wheeler Groomer- I will always remember being asked to groom Bella, a Maltese who was the “flower girl” at her owner’s wedding. While the bride was inside having her hair and makeup done, Bella was in my trailer being pampered; including flowers in her hair and nails painted bright pink. Both bride and flower girl looked beautiful on the day – although I can’t take credit for the bride!

I’ve always loved animals, particularly dogs, that’s why I decided to open my own Blue Wheelers Mobile Dog Wash. I love helping people keep their dogs looking and feeling great.

I’m often asked if I have a favourite breed, and while I love Border Collies for their intelligence and Cavaliers for their gentleness, to pick a favourite breed is impossible! What I do love most are the individual, funny and often quirky personalities of every dog, regardless of breed.

Before becoming a dog groomer, I worked in the corporate world for more than 20 years when I hit 40 years old, I knew it was time for a major change – to take the leap and follow my passion. And here I am 12 years later, still as passionate as ever about our furry best friends!

I have had the comfort of Margi being my dog groomer for over 12 years, we had four long haired dogs all at once and Margi was the most kind hearted and caring groomer I have ever known. Before finding Margi it was a very stressful event having the dogs groomed and I could tell they were scared. With Margi they were calm and happy . Margi loved the dogs with a genuine kindness and laugh at their antics . She could be trusted to come into my home when I wasn’t there and I had no stress that a dog would escape .Her work was always exceptional and was always reliable and professional. I would never recommend anyone but Margi for any dog grooming needs . Margi was so gentle with our eldest girl Lily at her frail age of 15.

Margi looks after my dog Quincy like her own. He looks so forward to her coming that he runs straight into the trailer and just stares at her adoringly.
Margi’s love for animals shows in the warmth and love she displays. Quincy is always well-groomed and looks forward to his treat at the end.

Meeka & Bella are 2 year old rescue dogs. They became part of our family 5 months ago. Being a bonded pair, Bella was so petrified of new people and anything with wheels. We were so nervous in getting her groomed.
Margi was absolutely terrific – she was very patient, gentle and spoke beautifully to our dogs. Margi managed to wash trim and blowdry them completely without them or us feeling traumatised, Margi was absolutely amazing and so considerate of our dogs and our feelings.

We all thank our lucky stars we found Margi . Abbey and Rosey are rescues whom need lots of TLC and kindness. Margi is exceptional . My dogs remain calm in her care no anxiety and are very settled. They always look amazing but more importantly they are very settled and calm with Margi. A great asset to the brand of Blue Wheelers.

Just had to drop a line to say how pleased I am with the service I receive when I have my dog Daisy groomed by Margaret. What an absolute asset she is. I always find Margaret to be punctual, honest and friendly. Her handling of the dog is wonderful. Daisy has a very curly coat and can at times be difficult but not to Margaret. Daisy always comes out of her Ranga vehicle smelling like roses.
I have no hesitation in recommending Margaret to others, her service and dedication to animals is second to none.
