I have been a Blue Wheeler in Karrinyup and Trigg since 2009.

My biggest tip for dog owners – in order to make the grooming session more enjoyable and less stressful for your four legged family member book regular pampering sessions.

One of my favourite things about being a Blue Wheeler is being recognised on the road by the Blue Dog trailer not only by my clients but also by my four legged clients. I love going to work every day and being greeted by poochies who are ecstatic to see me; rushing to try get into the trailer the minute I have pulled up.

A number of years ago I had a massive Rottweiler called Kahn. He was the first dog I ever had to call my own, as all other dogs in my life were my parent’s dogs. I grew up with many German Shepherds. My boyfriend at the time surprised me with a Rottweiler puppy one day. He was big and beautiful. He would go to bed on request but not lie down in his bed until I had given him a kiss on the head good night. He lived to a ripe age of 10 for such a big dog. So I decided to name my trailer Kahn after my wonderful pup to keep his memory alive..

I remember using a mobile dog grooming salon for my dog; saw how excited he was to see them and I was thinking that this would be an amazing job to have. A number of years later I saw my first Blue Dog trailer and what was offered in the salon; I was sold.

Special memory of my life as a Blue Wheeler Groomer: I had a client contact me following her dog having a previous bad grooming experience. She would not let anyone touch her, following our first 3 – 4 times of trying to build a relationship with her, I now have her running and leaping into my arms on arrival. If I bend over ever so slightly she takes that as her cue to jump – I do have to be prepared!!

I have come from a very varied background from hospitality management, real estate sales and leasing manager. My background has offered me the experience I need in dealing with many different aspects of running a successful business.

Sue is an amazing dog whisperer! Molly our groodle has seen Sue for her grooming needs for about 7 years! Sue is always engaged, gentle and caring towards Molly. We know this because Molly is always excited to see her. Molly always smells beautiful and seems more relaxed (like after a visit to a day spa) after her groom. Sue also looks after Molly’s eyelashes beautifully. We love how she rebooks our next appt quickly and efficiently. And Molly loves her treats she receives after her groom and for Xmas each year! Completely spoilt each time! Thank you, Sue!

Sue has washed my dog’s ever since I first started getting my dogs professionally washed and groomed. She is amazing – makes my life so much easier knowing they will be booked in regularly and well looked after. Sue has washed and groomed 4 of my dogs in the time we have known her, which has spanned well over a decade. From new pups to cranky old dogs she has cared for them and they look forward to their turn to be groomed with her. I could not recommend her more highly.

Sue has been grooming our Loku for the past 8 years, Sue is extremely professional, punctual and friendly! Her love of pets is seen through her knowledge and care that she always delivers, always goes the extra mile to make Loku feel comfortable and loved! Midge (an American Staffy, 7 yrs) and Scarlett (a Pug, 6 yrs) have been washed and groomed by Sue for most of their lives. They love their “bath time” and also love Sue Brown. Sue is a reliable, caring and efficient dog groomer. She is always communicative about arrival times and her van is absolutely immaculate. The dogs could not be in better hands. I don’t think we could have managed without Sue’s regular visits over the years. The dogs are always very excited when they are told she is coming.
Sue runs a very professional business, and clearly loves dogs.

Sue has been a wonderful, loyal friend who genuinely cares for my dogs. She’ll let me know when the dogs need special attention to any areas like ears, skin etc.
She is punctual and prompt with the arrangements so that my dogs are washed every two weeks and their coats are trimmed and kept beautifully.

I have been using Sue for around 3 years. I don’t trust my dogs with any one. And I couldn’t recommend Sue high enough.
She goes out of her way to remember certain things about each dog to make the experience the best and most comfortable for them.
