• My name is Elise. I am married and have two beautiful daughters, a Jack Russell, a Dachshund, and a cat. I have been grooming since 2001 and love working in the Kenmore to Moggill region.

  Over the years, I’ve met some lovely people and their dogs, many of whom have been my customers for more than 20 years. I really enjoy the semi-rural lifestyle this area offers and have had the chance to visit many beautiful properties in the countryside.

  On my rounds, I often come across ducks, horses, cows, geese, guinea fowl, and of course, plenty of dogs!

Quick Facts about your Groomer:

• My Jack Russell is called Link. He’s very smart and extremely alert. Sometimes he barks a bit too much, but he’s always highly entertaining and comical. My Dachshund is called Freya. She has short hair with chocolate and fawn colouring. She’s the sweetest and friendliest little dog, and she brings the calm energy between the two of them.
• I became a dog groomer because I have always loved dogs and all animals. As a child, I dreamed of being both a vet and a hairdresser, so grooming combines the best of both worlds for me.
• I typically groom between 7 and 12 dogs a day, depending on whether it’s a quick wash or a full groom.
• I sometimes sing while grooming because I’ve had singing lessons and love it. Dogs pick up on your happy vibe and usually feel more relaxed.
• I talk to your dogs about what’s coming next, tell them they’re good, and ask how they’re feeling. They may not respond with words, but their eyes say it all.
• My favourite part of the day is greeting the dogs - they’re usually bursting with excitement to see me!
• My favourite food is chippies - cold or hot, I don’t mind. Beyond that, I love trying all kinds of food and exploring new flavours.
• I would love to visit all the countries in Europe, especially Germany since I learned German at school. I even promised my German teacher I’d go someday - but I haven’t made it there yet.
