I have been in the Dog Grooming Industry for more than ten years now. My job includes dog washing, grooming, maintenance/full body and specific breed clips and I have provided this to many happy customers over the duration.
If I had one tip for pet owners it is this – they should always keep on top of brushing and combing (long hair/fluffy dogs) every few days so that their hair doesn’t get matted and knotted.

My favourite thing about being a mobile dog groomer is the opportunity to meet so many different types of people and dogs. Being a dog lover, it’s a great opportunity to meet and groom a diverse selection of breeds.
I enjoy working with the dogs and also the bond that I form with the owner. Add to this the actual running of the business and flexibility of the job and being your own boss. This is why I decided to join the Blue Wheeler family.
When it came to naming my Blue Dog trailer this was a pretty easy decision to make’ I used the name of my first ever dog wash/grooming job that I did!!! aka ‘Diesel’ a placid & gorgeous looking Bull Mastiff.
I have so many happy and fond memories of my time as a Blue Wheeler over the last 10 years, from meeting some extraordinary people who have become really good friends outside of the business to much loving friendly pooches that I treat as if they were my own. I wouldn’t change it & long may it continue. Best job in the world.
I am originally from the UK and have worked in the building industry and customer service. Through my working career I have learnt how to adapt whether it is physical, relationships with clients, working in a team or autonomously.

Lee has been bathing our pooch for 10years now and we can’t recommend him enough! He’s always on time, accommodates if we need to change our day and time slot, is gentle with our old girl and always has the time to answer any questions and have a chat. Lee did a great job grooming and clipping my Maltese x shitzu puppy. I would highly recommend using a mobile dog grooming service as it is far less stressful and distressing for the dog as they aren’t kept in cages waiting long durations in a noisy environment for their turn. I will definitely be using Lee’s services again. The whole experience for both myself and my dog was stress free and he looks fantastic after his chic summer clip.

Lee’s has been grooming Lizzie our shih tzu for over a year he is very good with Lizzie who is not the easiest dog to handled, Getting on in years 16 and deaf and not much eyesight but Lee manages to handle her and does a great job. Thanks Lee.

Lee Stephens has been washing our two beloved dogs since they were puppies six years ago. Lee is wonderful with them and does a first class job every time, taking great pride in his work. Our dog Scottie is very nervous and Lee is the only person apart from family that he will let near him. Lee is always cheerful and courteous and obviously enjoys his work.
