I’ve been dog washing and grooming with Blue Wheelers since April 2010 in Mascot 2020, Botany 2019 and Banksmeadow 2019.
My No.1 tip for dog owners is to listen closely to your dogs, understand their needs. They are highly social creatures that need stimulation and attention just like humans. Grooming is a great way to give them some socialisation, stimulation and keep a close eye in any changes in their bodies that other wise wouldn’t be noticed such as rushes, lumps, infections and parasites.

My favourite thing about being a mobile dog groomer is the difference I make in doggies’ lives and their families and the difference they make in my life. I’m not only their dog groomer but also a huge resource for any dog related needs.
I chose Blue Wheelers because dogs inspire me. They are wonderful creatures. Grooming is a great way to learn from them and make them part of my everyday life.
My dog’s name is Michelle. I met her when I was working for a shelter and she was a court case for animal cruelty and was seized from a puppy farm/back yard breeder. It took 6 months for this case to be decided; in the meantime I fostered her. She had many medical issues and she wasn’t considered adoptable, so she was scheduled to put down. When the time came I kept her and now she’s my heart!
I had a soulmate, Kiara. A beautiful bicolor Beagle who stole my heart since I laid eyes on her. Since then we started a wonderful journey together. And now that she’s gone, I keep travelling with her in the form of a Big Blue Dog called Kiara, a great way to honour her name and her influence in my life.
Before doing dog grooming I did several years of journalism and communications following a bachelor’s and a Master’s degree. This knowledge has helped me to build my grooming business in a much more interdisciplinary way combining my life experience. Now Blue Wheelers Mascot is a dog community where all dog related issues can be talked about and discussed to find the best outcome. I’m not only a dog groomer but also a friend and a big support in moments of need.

We cannot speak highly enough of Ally's care for our dogs. We have 2 large, boisterous & strong willed rottweilers that are not easy for us as owners to wash but Ally has a way of relaxing them & they absolutely love seeing her for their regular bath. We were quite worried about having a washer handle our dogs but from the moment Ally met them they trusted her & we could just relax. Ally always takes her time & has them looking & smelling amazing! We are so lucky to have found her, truly one in a million:)

Ally has groomed our spoodle Casper for a couple of years and we are so happy for her care and kindness of him. Casper loves her and to us it's goes to show he feels safe and has no hesitation when she comes to collect him for his beauty time !!! Ally will always tell you if she has any concerns when she is grooming him and will offer suggestions and advice. We are so very lucky to have crossed paths as she is one special person.

Ally has been grooming our dogs for about 4 yrs. Her lovely nature, with people and dogs,makes it a pleasure to recommend her to other dog owners. Ally is very reliable and thorough,always taking time with Ela & Gretal,who always run back into the house looking gorgeous! It is very convenient to have Ally out the front of our house,and all the children passing by get a kick out of it as well. We can often hear her chatting to the dogs from the house. A great atmosphere! We are very lucky to have found her.

Ally has been looking after our dogs for years - they get excited when they see her, such is her nature - loving and a calming presence. I highly recommend Ally to groom your dog. She always listens to what you would like and she never disappoints. When she arrives she takes the time to cuddle and talk to my Cavoodle Jessie and calms any nerves she has. Then she disappears into her trailer and in a short while she returns with a beautifully smelling, gorgeously groomed, very happy Jessie! There is no doubt Ally loves her job and she is very good at it. So glad we found her!

Can't praise Ally enough! We are so lucky to have found her and Shadow absolutely adores her. He is so happy to go in the 'Big Blue Dog' and have his bath and groom. He always comes out wagging his tail and smelling wonderful. It's so convenient to have door-to-door service and we would never go anywhere else.

Ally has been grooming Coco for the last 7 years. We cannot speak more highly of Ally. She is professional, gentle and and has such a wonderful relationship with Coco. Coco always looks forward to seeing Ally and greets her warmly every time (despite the fact that she's not really a fan of being washed and cut). Thank you Ally for your hard work and dedication!

Barney loves Ally for which we are truly grateful. We started having Allys groomer services about three or four years ago . Ally copes wonderfully with our hyperactive grumpy Maltese cross. Ally was also so caring for our late elderly terrier corgi cross who passed away March 2016. Cindy was very unwell in her last few months and Ally was so kind and considerate with Cindy at every groom .

Ally is an angel! Louli had been traumatised by other groomers at salons before & she has totally worked out that, while she still HATES being groomed, she loves & trusts Ally. Ally treats her gently, patiently & lovingly. She allows Louli to settle & takes a bit more time with her to help her feel safe. Ally's skills at grooming bring out the glamour girl in Louli, who is a 12 year old Spoodle. Ally thoughtfully hand cuts some parts of Louli's body so as to best shape the cut to make her appear more in proportion than she actually is. While I think my dog is beautiful, Ally really shows that off to full advantage while being very gentle, kind & patient with her. I unhesitatingly recommend Ally.

Ally is a genuinely brilliant professional groomer and evident animal lover. Ally has been grooming my dogs for over a year now and we couldn't be happier with the job she's done. The dogs are always comfortable and happy with her and come out looking beautiful every time. My shitzu has a heart murmur and is especially looked after and cared for by Ally when he is with her.

Ally has been washing my 3 Chinese Crested Male dogs for over 3 years now. One of my boys is extremely sensitive (blind and partially def) and another one is a rescue dog and quite frightened. Ally has always been very kind and patient with my boys. She is punctual, professional and above all has a real love of dogs which shines through in her work. Can't recommend her highly enough!

Ally has been grooming our dog Blade for over 5 years now. We moved out of the area about 3 years ago but still take him back to the area to get groomed as he has grown attached to Ally. Her kind nature and professional approach is to be admired.

I have two older Toy Poodles and after a couple of nasty incidents at grooming parlours I decided to try Blue Wheelers. Ally came today and introduced herself to the dogs and spoke to them calmly before grooming them. It calmed them down and she was able to groom them without difficulty. I find this rare in a person who has just met the dogs. She was very organised and friendly. She clipped the dogs just the way I wanted them done. I would highly recommend her to anyone that requires their dogs to be groomed by a professional and caring person. Thank you Ally.
