• I’ve been with Blue Wheelers since June 2013 servicing the area of Prospect and surrounds.

  If I were to offer some advice to dog owners I would say to make sure puppies are introduced to grooming very early. A well-groomed dog is a happy dog!

  I’ve always wanted to own a business and I’ve always loved dogs and animals in general so when the opportunity came up to join the Blue Wheelers team, I jumped at the chance.

  I love the creativity that comes with being a groomer, I love the kisses and cuddles and I love handing back a well groomed dog and having my clients be amazed at how good their fur baby looks and smells.

  My experience in handling animals has definitely helped me in my Blue Wheelers life as it allows me to be confident in handling dogs of all different sizes and temperaments.

  My favourite dog breed is the West Highland white terrier. I love this breed because they are tenacious, full of personality and a great snuggle buddy – I also love to groom them – but I might be a little bias considering my best mate Hamish is a Westie

  My Blue Dog’s name is Chief! Chief was named by my best friend’s son – a Blue Wheeler lives on his street and he loves the Big Blue dog! So when my Big Blue Dog arrived I bestowed the honour of naming it to him – he was stoked!!

  Before I joined the Blue Wheelers team I was working as a Senior Environmental Scientist specializing in Monitoring and Evaluation. I grew up in the country riding horses and wrangling all types of animals.
