Hi, my name is Tracy and I love being a Blue Wheeler Mobile Dog Groomer. The reaction of owners when their dog is handed back to them makes my job a pure joy! It’s great to see them so happy and excited with their newly washed and groomed dog. I spend lots of time bonding with your dog during the groom – I see how happy they are at the end of the service – always read for a play!

I have always had pets while growing up and have a great love for animals – especially dogs. My first ambition when I was about 7 years old was to become a vet.

However, upon graduating from Uni with an engineering degree, I embarked on a career in manufacturing that spanned over 19 years. When it came time to revisit my career choice, I got to know a Blue Wheeler mobile dog groomer who let me tag along to see what the Blue Wheeler lifestyle was all about. And the rest, as they say, is history. I was sold on the idea of owning my own dog grooming business and most of all, working with dogs.

I love all dog breeds, fluffy, cuddly, big or small, but my favourite dog breed is the golden retriever. The reason is they have a very loving and endearing nature. Also I like doing big brush outs on them to remove their undercoat, it’s so satisfying.

I decided to name my Blue Dog TJ, after my own name Tracy John.

A special memory of life as a Blue Wheeler Groomer was this great relationship I had with an older customer who has since passed away due to cancer. I used to sit with him after the groom just to chat with him to keep him company.

Customer service is my main priority. The dogs’ needs are put above everything else so that they get the attention they deserve during the grooming service, and on a regular basis. I keep on top of all the technical aspects of how to properly groom specific breeds. While some customers require their dog just to be clipped, I go above and beyond to provide grooming styling according to breed standards. This provides the value added that my customers have come to expect.

Tracy is extremely professional, reliable and above all gentle and kind with grooming my mum’s dog Luna and very reasonably priced.
As mum is elderly and no longer drives Tracy comes out to mum’s place in Rowville.

Our Fozzy does not particularly like being groomed and subsequently he had quite a few large mats beneath his very thick and long hair. He basically needed shearing like a sheep. Tracy from Blue Wheelers was so very patient with him and persevered to get the job done properly!

Today we had Tracy come to our home to groom our super adorable Cairn Terrier for the first time.
Tracy was super punctual, arriving on time and after getting to know Oswald (Cairn Terrier ) set about grooming him.
Tracy’s approach was very friendly, kind and professional. Oswald fell in love in just minutes ).
The end result was just brilliant with Oswald looking like a Cairn but not ‘over groomed’ (One has an image to uphold)..

Tracy groomed Baxter for the first time today, he did a wonderful job. Baxter’s hair was quite long and matted after the winter but Tracy did a beautiful job and Baxter seemed very calm and happy. Thanks again Tracy.

Our two swamp monsters were out of control!! Quick phone call to Tracy of Rowvillle Blue Wheelers and an hour later he arrived and got to work. 2 hours later, our two swamp monsters were once again clean, fresh and adorable poodles. Highly recommended, professional, friendly and highly competent.

I’m always extremely hesitant trying new groomers as some of our fur babies have had traumatic experiences before…but with TJ this is the most stress free I’ve seen them! Especially two of them being very sensitive and resistant, were instantly calm with TJ.
TJ has also done a flawless job on their clipping and grooming…he was patient and took his time perfecting their look with high attention to detail.
Extremely impressed and highly recommend! Definitely best in Rowville!
