My favourite thing about being a mobile dog groomer is that I get to do what I love every day, and that is cuddle some dogs and make sure that they are well maintained and comfortable!

Having my own dogs means that I can really appreciate and understand the importance of having a happy and healthy dog at home and this has been the driving force behind starting my Blue Wheelers journey.

I have two incredibly sweet dogs at home that have given me the patience and understanding to be confident and capable of handling your best friends with care and love. Louie is an 11-year-old cocker spaniel who is all attitude and thinks of himself as a human rather than a dog. Henry is a big, sweet, 6-year-old Golden Retriever that constantly has a smile on his face but is know for being very sensitive and a little anxious.

I decided to pick Axel as my Blue Dog name because, while I could have named it after one of my dogs, I couldn’t bring myself to play favourites and decided on Axel. I chose Axel because after all it is a mobile grooming service being driven around on axles!

Before working as a dog groomer, I worked in Financial Planning. It has taught me a lot about the running of a business.

Jess is amazing.
I think my dog is now 3kgs lighter after the wash Jess gave her.
Everyone including dogs need a good pampering.

Our little Autumn is very hyperactive and wants to be part of everything. Jess has now completed 2 sessions with her since 4 months old and is helping her get used to being groomed. Autumn had her first full clipping last week and looks like a brand new dog!! She smelt so pretty and seems to be so much happier without all of her extra heavy fur. We hope Jess will be our go to groomer for many years to come!!

2 very happy pups and very happy owners! Jess was great. Both our dogs are a little timid and not fond of new people but that didn’t bother Jess! Sparky and Luna were very happy afterwards, plus smelt and looked amazing. We have rebooked for another clean. Highly recommended!
