Blue Wheelers COVID-19 Update
As we face the challenges of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) the Blue Wheelers team would firstly like to wish everyone well and hope for nothing but good health and positivity amongst you and your families.
We are sharing an update in regards to the steps we are taking as a National business to protect our Groomers, our valued customers and their fur babies.
State and Federal Governments have taken steps to slow the spread of this virus so that those in need of higher-level health care will be able to receive it. Without these measures, the health care system may be unable to cope. Currently, these measures are not intended to stop business and necessary activity; just to stop the spread of the virus within reasonable measures.
As Australia’s No 1 choice in Mobile Dog Grooming we already have strict procedures in place to ensure your dogs are washed and groomed in a fully sanitised environment. We continue to practice safe and sanitary procedures in our everyday activities and will ensure that even more emphasis is put on these procedures.
We are very lucky that our business can operate with virtually no human contact whatsoever. As is often the case anyway, a Groomer can access a dog in the back yard and complete the service without face to face contact with their human clients.
As more people spend more time at home, we expect that smelly, dirty fur children will still need to be cared for. Probably more so, as keeping dogs hygienically clean will be even more important to many!

Your Blue Wheelers Groomer will continue to attend to your dogs and we suggest changes as follows:
Your Blue Wheelers groomer will ring your doorbell or text/phone you to announce their arrival. Please allow your dog to come out the front door into the garden where your Groomer will greet them and take them into the mobile salon.
Your Groomer will then contact you to advise they are finished and bringing the dog back into the garden so you can allow the dog back into your home. Social distancing will be maintained at all times. We know you love to chat and catch up with your groomers but at this time we kindly ask you to refrain from face to face contact where possible.
Payment can be left in an envelope in an appropriate spot for your Groomer to collect or you may consider paying by bank transfer or making credit card payments where possible (some of our Groomers will accept over the phone Credit Card payments)
If you have been diagnosed with Covid-19 or have returned from overseas in the past fortnight, we ask you to postpone your appointment with our Groomers.
We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time and will keep you updated on any further decisions we make as a business regarding the wellbeing of our Groomers.
Please ensure lots of extra cuddles with your fur babies – they will continue to have a deeply calming effect on your wellbeing.
